Growing Teen Advocates
Growing Teen Advocates (GTA) is a seven-week program designed for teens 13 to 17 years of age. The GTA program is packed with education and awareness on the topics of substance use and mental health. Upon graduation your teen will have learned valuable tools to make informed life decisions in the areas of substance use and their mental health.
Week One: Substance Use Awareness
Week Two: Peer-Pressure Awareness
Week Three: Anxiety and Depression Awareness
Week Four: Suicide Awareness
Week Five: Brain and Behavior
Week Six: Cultural Awareness
Week Seven: Course Reflection and Graduation
Upcoming Seven-Week course starts September 30th, 2021 (Spots still available)
Every Thursday 6:30pm to 8pm.
Graduation on November 11th, 2021
Graduates will receive a GTA T-shirt and certificate of completion.

Elizabeth Redwolf, an Ohio University Graduate with a Bachelors's in Adolescent Psychology.
Wayana Moore, a third-year Psychology student at The Ohio State University.
Bry Johnson, LSW, CDCA, an Ohio State University graduate with a Bachelor's in Social Work. Bry is currently pursuing her Masters in Social Work at The Ohio State University.
Mariah Iron Necklace, has an Associates in Psychology and is a third-year Psychology and Sociology double major student at The Ohio State University.
